About This Listing

Dune Haven is the closest rental property to the beach in Venus Bay. This new, 3 bedroom home features modern, luxury appointments and plenty of space for all the family. The property is fully fenced and pet-friendly. Backing onto the Liptrap Coastal Park enjoy beach access via your back gate and gorgeous, peaceful views to the coastal dunes from the living and garden areas. Wifi access is ideal for those working remotely.

Aptly named Dune Haven, this home backs onto the dunes of the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park which means guests can walk out the backyard and up a track to the beach. (You make also like to view our other similar property Captain's Cottage.)

Dune Haven features 3 large bedrooms and an expansive light-filled, open plan living area featuring a raked ceiling revealing beautiful views of the coastal park.

The spacious main bedroom has a queen-size bed, wall-mounted TV, large ensuite and walk-in robe. Bedroom two has a queen-size bed, with single trundle and built-in robe. Bedroom three has two sets of single bunks, single trundle and a wall-mounted TV (perfect for the kids). A large fully-equipped kitchen features stone benchtops and stainless appliances.

Maximum insulation and double glazed windows throughout ensure guest comfort - cool in summer and warm in winter. Enjoy the ambiance of the wood heater in the winter with a reverse cycle air conditioner providing instant heating or cooling. There are also fans throughout the home.

Pet-friendly, the block is fully fenced with a kennel for your furry friend.

For those with babies and toddlers, there is a stroller, portacot, baby bath and highchair readily available.

The expansive living area leads onto an undercover deck with dining setting and BBQ. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautifully quiet position and surroundings, or watch the kids as they play basketball or bocce on the custom play area. At night, drift off to sleep to the sound of the surf and wake to the sounds of coastal birdlife.

Guest access: Guests have access to a fully equipped house and kitchen and can enjoy the outdoor areas. Linen is not provided but can be organised for an additional fee.

Terms and Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: LINEN IS NOT INCLUDED however, with sufficient prior notice, bed sheets, pillow slips and towels can be organised for an additional fee.
Guests have access to a fully equipped house and kitchen and can enjoy the large outdoor areas.
Deposits are refunded once the caretaker has confirmed the property was vacated on time and left in a clean and tidy state.

1. Every effort is made to accommodate guests in their preferred property but management reserves the right to make alterations to bookings where necessary.
2. All properties are strictly NO SMOKING indoors. Guests will be asked to leave if found smoking indoors and will be charged a cleaning fee of $50.
3. Bond - We require a bond as security, which is refunded following an inspection of the property once guests have departed. Management reserve the right to inspect the property at any time if they consider the conditions of booking to be broken.
4. Arrival - Check in time is from 12 noon. Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival, with all dishes done. If the house is not left in a satisfactory state the guest’s bond will be used to accommodate the additional cleaning. Check out time is by 12 noon at the latest, to allow us time to prepare the property for the next guests.
5. Please note that our maximum capacity for the properties is ten (10) people (including children) and under no circumstances can we accommodate above this number. Any additional overnight guests found at the property will be asked to leave.
6. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive or late night noise is prohibited and may result in termination of your rental.
7. All children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult during their stay with us.
8. Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave at any time, if any of the above conditions are broken or if guests’ behaviour is considered unruly. No compensation will be offered if your stay is cut short due to bad behaviour and you will be expected to pay for any damage and breakages.
9. Pets are allowed at the discretion of the owners. Guests are responsible for the comfort of their pets (i.e. providing bedding, food & bowls) and the cleaning of all messes. Guests will be charged for any damage caused by pets and a $50p/pet fee for any additional cleaning required eg. picking up dog mess or excessive shedding. Pets are allowed indoors but not in the bedrooms or on the furniture. We ask that guests be mindful of our neighbours and ensure that dogs do not bark constantly.

What a great place to stay! The house is sunny and warm and offers loads of activities for adults, kids and dogs. I found myself sitting in a sunny corner with a book and a cuppa while my pup played in the yard or found her own sunny spot to relax. The beach is really close and you can walk for miles with your dog. It's also pretty close to the coastal reserve where we saw heaps of birds, kangaroos and other wildlife. It's great value and I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property in a fabulous location, 100 mtrs from the beach. The dogs had a wonderful time as did we. Very friendly accommodating hosts, would highly recommend.
